> [!NOTE]
## Hur man anvÀnder korten
1. Ladda ner anki-paketet du vill ha
3. Njut, i guess.

This repo is a complement to my [Notion database](https://mikaelrr.notion.site/Delade-anteckningar-Hub-LTH-D-C-f2a47297b9b146dba372e02c4f789d55?pvs=4).
These cards are directed towards computer science students, but you can use any individual courses cards by downloading them. A complete list of included courses can be found [here](contents.md). Right now (middle of year 3), there are about 8000+ cards (many of which are variants of the same card, so the real amount is probably closer to 2000). Almost all cards are "cloze" cards. The cards are written in Swedish when the course is in Swedish, and English when it is in English - sometimes I may, however, decide based on the books language.
None of the cards are currently tagged or categorized.
Feel free to drop an [issue](https://www.github.com/mikael-ros/LTH-anki/issues/new) if you discover an error.
_You can download [Anki](https://apps.ankiweb.net) for your phone or your PC, amongst others._
## Why GitHub?
Because AnkiWeb has undefined minimums on downloads on decks, and I don't want my decks to be deleted
GitHub specifically, because its a standard within computer science, and it makes it easy for me to update the files.
GitHub also makes it possible for the cards to be indexed and for them to be found organically through Google searches.
## How to use the cards
1. Download the anki package you want
a. You can do this by navigating in GitHub to the specific package you want, and clicking the download button in the corner.
b. Or you clone the whole repo, or parts of it (look this up yourself)
2. Open Anki and navigate to ``File > Import`` and choose the file (or equivalent for mobile)
3. Enjoy, I guess. You can set your own settings too
> [!TIP]
> Because of the sheer amount of cards, Anki will not show all possible cards before you change the settings. See the section below.
### What settings do I use?
Personally, I have 2 profiles.
One I call "Default" that has the settings:
- 9999 new cards every day (forces Anki to show the cards)
- 9999 reviews every day (same goes for this)
- Graduating interval = 7
- Easy interval = 10
- Insertion order = random
Another I call "Defunct" that I use for passed courses and has the settings:
- 0 new cards every day
- 0 reviews every day
### Will the decks override my settings?
No, I've seen to it to always export without my settings included.
