## About Hope True



Hello! I'm Hope True, and for over 5 years, I've been passionately guiding students in their math education journey. With a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Minor in Mathematics from Fresno State University, coupled with an Associate's Degree in Mathematics from Fresno City College, I bring a unique educational perspective to my teaching. As a Certified Tutor accredited by the CRLA and an Honor Graduate, my expertise spans across Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics.



As a mother of four, I understand the challenges young learners face and am adept at creating a nurturing and effective learning environment. Whether it's in-person tutoring in Monterey, CA, or online sessions, I'm here to help every student succeed in mathematics.



## Qualifications



- Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Minor in Mathematics, Fresno State University

- Associate's Degree in Mathematics, Fresno City College

- Certified Tutor, College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA)

- Honor Graduate, Fresno State University and Fresno City College

- Over 5 years of experience in Math Tutoring

I offer tutoring sessions at:

- At your home (Note: $25.00 travel fee applies)



## Tutoring Fees



### Individual Academic Tutoring

- Prepayment Discount: $75/hour (Pay in advance for the month, locked-in schedule)

- Regular Rate: $85/hour (Payment due at the time of service, flexible rescheduling with 24-hour notice)



### Small Group Academic Tutoring

- 2 students: $60/student/hour ($240/month)

- 3 students: $40/student/hour ($160/month)

- 4 students: $30/student/hour ($120/month)

- 5 students: $25/student/hour ($100/month)

- Drop-in Rate: $50/hour (no prepayment discount)



### Advanced Placement Exam Preparation (AP)

- $95/hour (monthly billing)

- Four-hour bundle: $350 (Prepaid only)



### SAT/ACT/PSAT/SAT II/SSAT/CAHSEE/GRE Test Preparation

- Private Lesson: $150/hour (1.5 hours required)

- Small Group Lesson:

  - 2 students: $100/student/hour (1.5 hours required)

  - 3 students: $80/student/hour (1.5 hours required)

  - 4 students: $60/student/hour (1.5 hours required)



*Note: No prepayment discounts for test prep sessions. Minimum 1.5-hour session.*



### Additional Fees

- Location Fee: $25 per session for off-site meetings

- Late Payment Fee: $35/month for outstanding invoices
