= SHERPA Flatpak Manifest
This is a Flatpak manifest for SHERPA, the internal management tool of the
https://www.gruene.de/[German Green party].
It allows running the app in a safe, containerized environment across any Linux
distribution.
For externals it is of limited use.== Installation
There is currently no available package to be pulled and installed from remote
(i.e. from Flathub).
However, with this manifest it can be built installed locally.=== Prerequisites
`flatpak-builder` is required to be installed on the local system.
On most Linux distributions it can be installed using the native package
manager.

First, download the SHERPA client from the
https://service.gruene.de/sherpawiki/doku.php?id=0.0_client-download:0.3_linux[internal website]
and extract the files from `sherpa-client-xxx` into `./sherpa-client/`.The following command will build the flatpak and install it in the current
user's environment:[source,bash]

flatpak-builder build-dir de.gruene.sherpa.Sherpa.yaml --force-clean --install --user
----=== Run
The app should be automatically detected by the operating system and ready
to launch from whatever start menu is used.To run the app from the command execute the following:
