Built with **Django** for the backend and **PostgreSQL** for the database, this project ensures a fast, reliable, and delightful user experience.

## **Installation and Setup**

Follow the steps below to get the project running locally:

1. **Clone the repository**:
```bash
git clone https://github.com/MohdRaza216/foodiwheels.git
cd foodiwheels
```

2. **Create and activate a virtual environment**:
- For Linux/MacOS:
```bash
python -m venv myvenv
source myvenv/bin/activate
```
- For Windows:
```bash
python -m venv myvenv
myvenv\Scripts\activate
```

3. **Install dependencies**:
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

4. **Configure the PostgreSQL database**:
- Ensure PostgreSQL is installed and running on your machine.
- Create a database for the project in PostgreSQL.
- Update the `DATABASES` section in `settings.py` with your database credentials.

5. **Apply database migrations**:
```bash
python manage.py makemigrations
python manage.py migrate
```

6. **Start the development server**:
```bash
python manage.py runserver
```
- Visit the application at: `http://127.0.0.1:8000/` to view it locally.
