ParallelComputingPlayground

Shows different programming techniques for parallel computing on CPU and GPU.

## Purpose
The idea here is to compute a Mandelbrot-fractal using different C++ techniques and libraries. The idea here is to show the usage of the code. Note that the code is not optimized for performance and should not be used for benchmarking.

The following techniques and libraries are currently implemented:
- C++11 Thread
- Grand Central Dispatch
- OpenMP
- POSIX Threads
- OpenCL
- Metal compute shader
