# Hotel Reservation Analysis
## Introduction
This project aims to analyse hotel reservation data from two types of hotels: Resort Hotels (H1) and City Hotels (H2). The objective is to explore the dataset, identify interesting patterns and create impactful visualisations using SQL for data manipulation and Tableau for visualisation. The goal is to provide actionable insights that can help understand booking behaviours and trends in the hotel industry.

## Key Steps
1. **Data Cleaning and Conversion**:
- Used Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and converting XLSX files to CSV format.
2. **Data Analysis**:
- Employed PostgreSQL for running queries and performing data analysis.
3. **Data Visualisation**:
- Exported the analysed data to Tableau Desktop for visualisation.
- Published the visualisations on Tableau Public.
