## Project Description

Warner & Spencer Italian Pizza Company has been serving delicious pizzas to customers for years. To maintain high standards and improve business operations, we have created a Power BI dashboard that offers detailed insights into sales data. This project leverages Power BI's visualization capabilities to provide actionable insights into our pizza sales.

## Data Sources

The data used in this project includes:
- **Sales and Product Data**: Detailed sales transactions including date, product, quantity, amount and pizza products offered by Warner & Spencer.

## Installation

To run this project locally, follow these steps:

1. **Clone the Repository**:
```bash
git clone https://github.com/navp7/PizzaSales_PowerBI.git
cd pizza-sales-dashboard
```

2. **Open Power BI**:
- Download and install [Microsoft Power BI Desktop](https://powerbi.microsoft.com/desktop/).

3. **Load the Data**:
- Open the provided Power BI file (`Pizza Sales BI.pbix`).
- Ensure that the data source paths are correct or update them to match your local setup.

4. **Refresh the Data**:
- Click on `Home > Refresh` to load the latest data into the Power BI model.

## Usage

Once you have the dashboard open in Power BI, you can interact with it using the various filters and slicers provided. The dashboard is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing you to gain insights quickly.

## Key Visualizations

- **Sales KPI**: Displays total sales, average sales, total units solds and total orders
- **Monthly and hourly Trends**: Provides insights into the peak purchasing hours and months/weeks.
- **Sales Metrics**: Measuring sales performance by pizza category and sizes.
- **Top Products**: Shows the best-selling pizza products by revenue, quantity and total orders.
- **Worst Products**: Shows the worst-selling pizza products by revenue, quantity and total orders.
