# Code for 'Benefits and risks of diversification for individual fishers'

This repository contains code for the paper: Anderson, S.C., E.J. Ward, A.O.

Shelton, M.D. Adkison, A.H. Beaudreau, R.E. Brenner, A.C. Haynie, J.C. Shriver,

J.T. Watson, B.C. Williams. Benefits and risks of diversification for

individual fishers. In press at Proceedings of the National Academy of

Sciences. 

Within the folder `portfolio/analysis`, files are run in order according to

the numeric value in their names (`0-...R` then `1-...R`, etc.).

The main hierarchical variance function regression Stan model is in the file

`portfolio/analysis/portfolio-offset.stan`.

The fisheries data used in this study, although confidential, are available

from the Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission ().
