# google-adblock



A Chrome extension which removes those annoying Google ads and shopping banners from the search.







⚠️ This currently only works with google.de and google.com domains. If you wish to be able to use this extension on your local google.* domain you can create a pull-request for the manifest.json where you can add it to the matches section of the content scripts.

## How to install

1. Clone this repository to your machine.

2. Open Chrome (or any other Chromium based browser) and go to the ``chrome://extensions`` page

3. Enable developer mode and click on ``Load upacked``

4. Select the folder of the cloned repository and click open.

5. Congratulations, you now have a ad free Google search.
