# Introduction
Traffic Mesh is a local proxy and API service. It integrates Netlify's redirect
engine and Edge Handlers engine to be able to work with those features in your
local machine.
## How to use this repository
We publish [releases](https://github.com/netlify/traffic-mesh-agent/releases)
into this repository so they can be downloaded by [Netlify
CLI](https://github.com/netlify/cli). You can download releases directly from
this repository too if you don't have the cli installed.
