If you are using [[http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/][unison file synchronizer]] and you wonder which 

of the ignored files exists locally (and are not synced), you might 

like this script :-)

This shell script analyzes $PRFFILES (preferences files from unison) 

and prints out information about ignored items: item type (file, 

directory, link, ...) or if item is missing.

If you give any parameter (other than "--help" or similar) to 

this script, missing items are not listed. This is handy to look 

only for local files that do not get synchronized.

Please modify the content of $PRFFILES (to meet your requirements)

in unisonorphans.sh

Depends on: sed, grep, mktemp

** Usage 

  : unisonorphans.sh

                ... lists all ignored items and their type

  : unisonorphans.sh --ignore

                ... lists only ignored items that exist locally
