# Remove Ubuntu branding from boot and login
Use Ubuntu? Don't like the splash with your manufacturer name and the Ubuntu logo? Don't like the Ubuntu logo on the login screen? Well, I hear you!
This repo provides two extremely simple scripts: `remove` and `restore` to remove or restore the Ubuntu logo.
## Removing the Ubuntu logo
Run this:
```sh
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ohsayan/remove-ubuntu-boot-logo/next/remove | sh
```
## Restoring the Ubuntu logo
Run this:
```sh
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ohsayan/remove-ubuntu-boot-logo/next/restore | sh
```
