Using Git and Github - an introduction

Welcome,

This are the materials for the using git and github introduction to OKF

folks. Feel free to go through them as well - you might find something

useful.

The folder structure

chapters/ contains the 3 basic chapters: 

* what and why of version control

* introduction to the git command line client

* introduction to github for collaboration

participants/ contains files added by participants wiht a short descirption

of themselves - this is done during the tutorial.
