version of the web site on your development machine, you can follow this process
that works on Linux, Mac, and Windows):

- Clone this GitHub repository to your development machine.
- Use a terminal to go to the directory of the repository, run `poetry install`
and then `poetry run mkdocs serve`.
- To see the local build, copy the link visible in your terminal window and
paste it into your web browser.
- If you want to stop running the local server, you can type `control + c` in
the terminal.
