# ML4Dengue

###### (Machine Learning for Dengue)

## Introduction

Welcome to the ML4Dengue repository. This project is dedicated to the development and implementation of Python scripts for managing datasets used in our project notebooks. It also serves as a platform for collaborative study and research.

## Project Overview

Under the guidance of [Andrea Schwertner Charão](https://www.ufsm.br/cursos/pos-graduacao/santa-maria/ppgcc/andrea-schwertner-charao), our project aims to apply Machine Learning techniques to detect ovitrap eggs. This interdisciplinary project brings together experts from various fields, including computer science and biology.

## Repository Structure

This repository is organized with following directories:

- **cut-images**: Contains a script for cutting images into smaller pieces to more varied training data.

- **distributed-files**: Contains a script for distributing files into different directories, as train, test and validate data.

- **utils**: Contains scripts to help testing scripts and other utilities.

## Contributing

If you want to contribute with this project, should open an issue to discuss what you would like to change or implement.
