# chicago-trees-analysis
Remember when every mayor, including Chicago's, promised to plant 1 million trees? Whatever happened to that?
WTTW and students at DePaul University’s Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellent got the receipts. Not only has the city failed — the few trees it planted are mostly in white neighborhoods.
That analysis was based on the notebooks in this repository. Watch the story on [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpdzGSgvCmc).
