# Bookmark Checker
_System Requirements: iOS 26 or macOS Tahoe 26_
[Release 20260604](https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/8caf1275425e4a5daeeeb280462562eb)
Shortcut for iOS and macOS that searches for the current Safari web page in your bookmarks. Finds variant URLs that end/don’t end with an anchor/URI fragment or a “/”, and also URLs with the same title – useful for example when the URL has been changed since the page was bookmarked. On iOS, the shortcut only works from the Share menu in Safari – on macOS, it works both independently and from Safari’s Share menu.
Options
- Bookmark page
- Select bookmarks to be deleted
- Open “Bookmarks”
Notes about the bookmark deletion option
- Due to technical limitations in Shortcuts, it’s not possible to show what folders the bookmarks are in – if that’s important, instead use the “Open ‘Bookmarks’” option and manually search for the web page URL
- The bookmarks are listed from the last to the earliest bookmarked
