general gameplay:

- capturing solar energy with heat solar panels

- capturing geothermal steam for mechanical power

- melting ice for water

- somewhat more involved smelting & intermediate assembly

- new ores and alloys

- protecting your factory from the cold, harsh weather

- exploration?
