# picosdk-picovna-ni-labview-examples
*picosdk-picovna-ni-labview-examples* is a set of National Instruments LabVIEW examples demonstrating how to control the PicoVNA Vector Network Analyzer using ActiveX.
Examples are provided as a set of LabVIEW vi files.
The examples act as ActiveX clients, while the *PicoVNA 2* and *PicoVNA 3* applications act as ActiveX servers.
## Getting started
### Prerequisites
* National Instruments LabVIEW Base Development System 8.5 or later
### Supported models
* PicoVNA 106
* PicoVNA 108
### Installing software
* Download the PicoVNA 3 software from our [Downloads page](https://www.picotech.com/downloads).
### Programmer's Guides
You can download a Programmer's Guide providing a description of the API functions for the PicoVNA from our [Documentation page](https://www.picotech.com/library/documentation).
### Running the examples
* Open vi example for your model VNA (106 or 108)
* Change any controls as required
* Run the vi
* Choose the VNA cal file to use or click OK to use the default cal file.
