### What permissions does the plugin need

You need to [generate a GitHub personal access token](https://docs.github.com/en/authentication/keeping-your-account-and-data-secure/creating-a-personal-access-token)

#### For public repositories

You can provide no token, or a token with the `public_repo` permission
