# Callisto - A WordPress migration plugin
[Postlight](https://postlight.com)'s Callisto WordPress Migration Plugin allows
you to migrate content from any web site into a new or existing WordPress
instance instantly. Callisto is powered by [Postlight Parser](https://github.com/postlight/parser) from [Postlight
Labs](https://postlight.com/labs).## Demo
## Installation
1. Download the [zip file of this
repo](https://github.com/postlight/wp-callisto-migrator/archive/master.zip).
1. Follow [these
instructions](https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/#installing-plugins)
to install the plugin.
1. Verify the installation by checking the installed plugins on the WordPress
dashboard.## Usage
Once installed, you can use Callisto to import content from anywhere in a few
simple and straightforward steps:1. Navigate to the plugin.
1. Paste up to 5 URLs in the text field.
1. Choose the type of posts to create, and the status of those posts.
1. Click "Fetch and Create Posts."
1. You're done! Pages that were successfully parsed will appear below the
form, where you can preview and edit them if necessary.Refer to the [demo](#demo) above to see it in action.
