### ITAM Thesis template

A beautiful `LaTeX` template for a thesis/dissertation at the *Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México* (ITAM). The template is based on the [Dissertate](https://github.com/suchow/Dissertate) template and includes everything needed to support the production and typesetting of a B.A./B.S. dissertation at ITAM.

#### Getting started

1. Install `LaTeX`.

2. Install the default fonts: EB Garamond, Lato, and Source Code Pro. 

    - The files are provided in the folder `fonts`.

3. Personalize the document by filling out your name and information in `frontmatter/personalize.tex` and in `endmatter/personalize.tex`. 

4. Personalize the abstract, preface, and acknowledgments in the folder `frontmatter`.

5. Edit the files located in `chapters` to add the content of your thesis (chapters and appendices).

6. The `references.bib` file contains the references. By default, the references are cited in the [APSA](https://connect.apsanet.org/stylemanual/) style (`APSA.bts`). 

    - Explore more `.bts` styles at [BibTeX](https://www.bibtex.com) and refer to this page for [BibTeX Style guidance](https://www.reed.edu/it/help/LaTeX/bibtexstyles.html). 

    - To modify the BibTeX citation style, refer to the `Disertate.cls` file at line `541`.

7. Build your dissertation with `XeLaTeX`.
