# VanishGuide
## About
This little repo is a guide on how to vanish from the world and cover your tracks.
## How to hide online
### How to avoid catastrophic data leaks:
* Use [Burners](https://lifehacker.com/how-to-buy-a-burner-phone-1843905326), phones that are one-time only. These are old phones you can throw away if you did anything wrong or exposed your location.
* Use [temporary mail](https://temp-mail.org) services, as seen in "UsefulLinks"
* For temporary phone service, try using [Google Voice](https://voice.google.com/u/0/about) - US and CA only.
* https://privacy.com lets you create 12 burner credit cards each month for free
### Hide your identity:
* Use anonymous browsers like [TOR](https://www.torproject.org/download/) to surf the web securely
* Delete your personal information on the web. You can do this manually or pay for a service. Check [LifeWire](https://www.lifewire.com/remove-personal-information-from-internet-3482691) out for more information.
* Delete and Hide Your Search Habits
* Use a [Junk Email Account](https://temp-mail.org) to Handle New Account Details
* Never give out your real Identity
* Avoid Giving Out Your Real Payment Details
* Use [RSS](https://rss.com/) to Hide Your Tracks
* Delete Spyware to Stay Hidden Online
* Upgrade Your Social Media Privacy Settings (or don't havy any social media, it's that easy)
* Log Out of Websites When You're Done
* Use an operating sastem like [Tails](https://tails.boum.org/install/download/) for an extra layer of privacy
* Set up a [strong Firewall](https://www.techradar.com/best/firewall)
* Make your online activity more secure, check out [this](https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/) to see how protective your browser is
* For personal and secure emails use [ProtonMail](https://protonmail.com)
* When uploading any pictures [delete any metadata](https://www.adarsus.com/en/remove-metadata-online-document-image-video/)
* [Change](https://github.com/shilch/macchanger/) your Mac Address alot
* Use [strong passwords](https://passwords-generator.org/), that you don't use twice. Never send those passwords in any way except a full encrypted, end-to-end service if needed.
## How to make your phone secure
* Be careful of what you install
* Get the best antivirus possible
* Use the [TOR browser](https://www.torproject.org/download/) for browsing and as VPN
* Keep your smartphone up to date
* Always keep your Bluetooth off when in public
* Create a strong alphanumeric [password](https://passwords-generator.org/)
* Never leave your phone without password
* Watch out for [smishing](https://www.proofpoint.com/us/threat-reference/smishing)
* Avoid browsing with public network
* Don’t have active App notifications
* Avoid Auto-login as much as you can and try to use the website without haveing to register on this website
* Have passwords for different apps
* Delete apps that you don’t use
* Always go for the latest operating version of operating systems
* Encrypt all of your messages, for example with an app like [Session](https://getsession.org/)

* Have multiple sim cards
* Never have your phone near your main working station
* Turn off WiFi-autoconnect
## How to start a new life
### Social Media
* Search up random things with your account
* upload pictures of people that [do not exit](https://thispersondoesnotexist.com)
* join random groups
* delete recovery methods
* max out the number of wrong passwords
### Data
* delete all data and accounts from you of any platform you have
### Email
* Sign Up to a bunch of newsletters, reply to them
* Don't use any of you current email addresses again
### Your computer
* Install a lot of crypto related software (e.g. miners)
* Research cryptomining (as a false motive)
* Change your password to something very ease (e.g. your mothers name / birthday)
* Search for false locations (you don't plan on visiting) and hotels
* Lookup random maps / train or bus stations
* NEVER lookup important things on this computer / laptop
### Your phone
* In future only use burners
* Destroy your current SIM card and make your current phone unusable
* When going somewhere important, never bring your phone with you
### Money
* regularly withdraw small amounts of money from your bank account, so you won't be a red flag for the bank. Choose random locations for this.
* don't use banks after withdrawing anything
* have cryptocurrency: Monero, Ethereum, Bitcoin
* get a new job: 1) with no contact to people 2) coorporate with many companies 3) if possible work from home
### You
* get a completely new hairstyle
* wear new clothes / style

* Get a new drivers license / graduation
* Make new social medias
* Add friends / universities / workplaces based on your new life
These are only some ways on how to start a new life. You can decide on your own, how you want to start your new life, this is just a basic guide on one way how to do it.
