This is a small Scala program that implements Sauvola's method for image

binarization.

Requirements

------------

  * Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 6 or newer

Usage

-----

 1. You need to specify an image document that you want to binarize

 2. You can preview the output image, by clicking the preview button

 3. Adjust the coefficient (any decimal number between 0.2 and 0.5) and window

    size (any odd integer between 3 and 19).

 4. Hit “Save ...” and choose a destination for the resulting PNG image.
