## 🔄 How the Three Phases Connect

### Phase Flow

```
Phase 1 (MVP) Phase 2 (Integration) Phase 3 (Deployment)
════════════ ════════════════════ ════════════════════
4 Activities → + 5th Activity → Export & Deploy
Mock Backend → + Real Backend → Cross-Browser Test
Basic UI → + Polish & Audio → Documentation
Results Screen → + Progress Screen → GitHub Submission
Days 1-2 (12-14h) Days 2-3 (10-12h) Days 3-4 (6-8h)
```

### What Carries Forward

**From Phase 1 to Phase 2:**
- All activity scenes and scripts (reused)
- SessionManager architecture (enhanced)
- UI layouts (polished)
- Game flow logic (unchanged)

**From Phase 2 to Phase 3:**
- Integrated application (deployed)
- All 5 activities (tested)
- Polished UI (verified)
- Complete functionality (documented)

### Integration Points

**Phase 1 Sets Up:**
- Clean integration points for Phase 2
- Mock API matching real API exactly
- Signal-based architecture for easy swapping

**Phase 2 Builds On:**
- Same signal flow, just different backend
- Same UI, just polished
- Same activities, plus one more

**Phase 3 Completes:**
- Takes working app and deploys it
- Documents everything for future developers
- Submits final deliverables

## 🔑 Key Integration Points

There are only **4 main locations** where you replace mock backend calls with real SDK calls:

### 1. Session Start
**File:** `scripts/SessionManager.gd`
**Function:** `start_new_session()`
**Change:** `MockBackend.start_session()` → `PlaycademySdk.backend.request()`

### 2. Answer Submission
**File:** `scripts/SessionManager.gd`
**Function:** `submit_answer()`
**Change:** `MockBackend.submit_attempt()` → `PlaycademySdk.backend.request()`

### 3. Session End
**File:** `scripts/SessionManager.gd`
**Function:** `_end_session()`
**Change:** `MockBackend.end_session()` → `PlaycademySdk.backend.request()`

### 4. Progress Retrieval
**File:** `scripts/ProgressScreen.gd`
**Function:** `_ready()` or similar
**Change:** `MockBackend.get_progress()` → `PlaycademySdk.backend.request()`

**That's it!** Everything else stays the same.
