# PyRolL Pillar Model

The Pillar Model plugin serves as a base package for other plugins using the division of the profile in collinear pillars along width direction.  

It is mainly intended for calculation of material flow, groove filling and spread.

*Windows:* to use the plugin the programm [ffmpeg](https://ffmpeg.org/) needs to be installed.  

*Linux:* ffmpeg is usually preinstalled.
