# node-module-compile-transform

With `node-module-compile-transform`, text transform functions can be applied

to any loaded module with a filename matching a given regular expression.

## Install

```sh

npm install node-module-compile-transform

```

## Usage

The `node-module-compile-transform` must always be required before the module

you want to patch is loaded.

```js

const patch = require('node-module-compile-transform')

// Replace "foo" with "bar" in any js file with a path ending in foo.js

patch(/foo\.js$/, content => content.replace(/foo/g, 'bar'))

console.log(require('./foo')) // returns "bar" instead of "foo"

```
