# Archived

**RQGIS** only supports QGIS**2** (latest version v2.18), which is no longer actively developed.

QGIS2 relies on the deprecated Python2 and we highly discourage to use it.

Please use QGIS**3** and have a look at [RQGIS3](https://github.com/r-spatial/RQGIS3).
