## Getting Started

### Prerequisites
- Node.js (>=16)
- MongoDB
- pnpm (preferred package manager)

### Clone the Repository
```bash
git clone https://github.com/Rithick574/syncworks-autovert.git
cd syncworks-autovert
```

## Frontend

### Setup
1. Navigate to the `client` directory:
```bash
cd client
```

2. Install dependencies:
```bash
pnpm install
```

3. Configure environment variables:
- Add your `.env` file in the `client/` directory with the following variables:
```
VITE_API_BASE_URL=
```

4. Run the development server:
```bash
pnpm dev
```

### Build for Production
```bash
pnpm build
```

## Backend

### Setup
1. Navigate to the `server` directory:
```bash
cd server
```

2. Install dependencies:
```bash
pnpm install
```

3. Configure environment variables:
- Add your `.env` file in the `server/` directory with the following variables:
```
PORT=5000
DATABASE_URL=
```

4. Run the server:
```bash
pnpm start
```

### Run with Docker
1. Build the Docker image:
```bash
docker build -t autovert-backend .
```

2. Run the container:
```bash
docker run -p 5000:5000 --env-file .env autovert-backend
```
