# Lecture Notes: Calculus of Variations

Lecture notes for an introductory course on the calculus of variations (variational principles). First delivered at SNS, NUST, Pakistan during the spring semester of 2022-23. Currently incomplete.

#### Compiling from the source.

The custom `cauchy.cls` class file, `mathsphystools.sty` and `thmtools.sty` auxiliary style files are required to compile `main.tex`. These files can be obtained from [rmathsphys/latex-templates](https://github.com/rmathsphys/latex-templates).
