# IPL Auction Analysis 2022

## Overview

This project involves a comprehensive analysis of the IPL 2022 Auction. The goal was to gain insights into the auction dynamics, player characteristics, and spending patterns of different teams. We utilized various data preprocessing and machine learning techniques to prepare and analyze the data, with visualizations created using Power BI to present the findings effectively.

### Analysis and Visualizations

1. **Players Analysis by Nationality**: 

   - Analyzed the total price paid by teams for players from different nationalities.

   - Visualized the distribution and spending for each nationality.

2. **Sold Players by Country**:

   - Retrieved and listed all players sold in the auction from India, Australia, and New Zealand.

3. **Player Specialism**:

   - Compiled a list of all sold players and their respective specialisms.

4. **Uncapped Indian Players**:

   - Identified Indian players who have not participated in any IPL matches.

5. **Experience Analysis**:

   - Counted the number of experienced players (age ≥ 25) who had the opportunity to play in the 2021 IPL.

6. **Total Spend by Teams**:

   - Calculated the total amount spent by each team in the 2022 IPL Auction.

7. **Average Age of Players**:

   - Determined the average age of players for each team in the 2022 IPL Auction.

## Power BI Dashboard

The project includes a Power BI dashboard that provides a visual representation of the following:

- Nationality-wise spending.

- Distribution of sold players by country.

- Team-wise spending and average age of players.
