Diakonia

What does "Diakonia" mean?

"Diakonia" is Greek for: "to serve".
What does Diakonia do?
----------------------
Diakonia is a PHP application, built on Symfony2, Doctrine and related technologies.
It's aim is to serve (no pun intended) as a web portal to organise people how serve in an organization.
Diakonia's main focus is on a church environment where there are multiple teams of volunteers from worship leaders and band members, to stewards and people serving coffee.
