# Hiya 👋 I'm Rosalyn

## My work
I'm a Data Analyst in the **Centre for Medical Informatics** at the **Usher Institute**, University of Edinburgh.

Previously I worked at **Public Health Scotland**

* I currently work in the [**eDRIS**](https://publichealthscotland.scot/services/data-research-and-innovation-services/electronic-data-research-and-innovation-service-edris/overview/what-is-edris/) team - extracting, linking and preparing NHS data for use by trusted researchers [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=Public-Health-Scotland&repo=dose_instructions_parser&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/Public-Health-Scotland/dose_instructions_parser)
* Before this I worked in **COVID-19 Data & Analytics** doing public reporting during the pandemic [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=Public-Health-Scotland&repo=covid-19_respiratory_surveillance_dashboard&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/Public-Health-Scotland/covid-19_respiratory_surveillance_dashboard) [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=RosalynLP&repo=friendlyloader&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/RosalynLP/friendlyloader)
* I have also done some work with the **Waiting Times** team creating a dashboard to assess Clinical Prioritisation [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=Public-Health-Scotland&repo=Waiting_Times_Clinical_Prioritisation&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/Public-Health-Scotland/Waiting_Times_Clinical_Prioritisation)
* Here is a demo Shiny app I created based on PHS open data for the Scottish Drug Misuse Dataset [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=RosalynLP&repo=sdmd_exploration&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/RosalynLP/sdmd_exploration)

Before working in Public Health, I did a PhD in **Particle Physics** at Edinburgh Uni, where I worked in the [**NNPDF**]([https://github.com/NNPDF/nnpdf](https://nnpdf.mi.infn.it/)) collaboration.

* Here is a link to our main code for calculating parton distribution functions using neural networks [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=NNPDF&repo=nnpdf&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/NNPDF/nnpdf)
* These are some repos for calculating deuteron and nuclear corrections to parton distribution functions [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=RosalynLP&repo=nuclear_covmat&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/RosalynLP/nuclear_covmat) [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=RosalynLP&repo=deuteron_corrections&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/RosalynLP/deuteron_corrections)
* This is the source for my [thesis](https://era.ed.ac.uk/handle/1842/38570?show=full), entitled "Theory uncertainties in parton distribution functions" [![Readme Card](https://github-readme-stats.vercel.app/api/pin/?username=RosalynLP&repo=thesis&theme=graywhite)](https://github.com/RosalynLP/thesis)
