# gittag

This is a proof of concept around git and git tags to be used in proper (automatic) versioning of releases, e.g. gittag 1.0.2

gittag uses and follows "Semantic Versioning 2.0.0", see  for details

## gitchangelog and .gitchangelog.rc

Required for makechangelog.sh

Get them from https://github.com/vaab/gitchangelog or https://pypi.org/project/gitchangelog/#files
