## 🔐 Authentication Setup
### Clerk Configuration
1. Create a Clerk account at [clerk.com](https://clerk.com)
2. Create a new application
3. Copy your publishable key and secret key
4. Add them to your `.env.local` file
### Supabase Setup
1. Create a Supabase project at [supabase.com](https://supabase.com)
2. Create a `users` table with the following schema:
```sql
CREATE TABLE users (
id UUID DEFAULT gen_random_uuid() PRIMARY KEY,
name TEXT,
email TEXT UNIQUE NOT NULL,
created_at TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE DEFAULT NOW()
);
```
3. Copy your project URL and anon key to `.env.local`
## 🚀 Deployment
### Vercel Deployment (Recommended)
1. **Install Vercel CLI**:
```bash
npm i -g vercel
```
2. **Deploy**:
```bash
vercel --prod
```
3. **Add Environment Variables**:
- Go to Vercel Dashboard → Your Project → Settings → Environment Variables
- Add all variables from your `.env.local` file
### Manual Deployment
1. **Build locally**:
```bash
npm run build
```
2. **Upload to Vercel**:
- Drag and drop the `.next` and `public` folders
- Or use the Vercel dashboard to connect your GitHub repository
## 📱 Available Scripts
- `npm run dev` - Start development server
- `npm run build` - Build for production
- `npm run start` - Start production server

## 🔧 Configuration
### Next.js Config
The project uses Next.js 15 with the app router. Key configurations are in `next.config.mjs`.
### Tailwind CSS
Custom Tailwind configuration is in `tailwind.config.js` with shadcn/ui components.
## 🐛 Troubleshooting
### Common Issues
1. **Middleware Errors**: Ensure Clerk environment variables are set correctly
2. **Build Failures**: Check that all required environment variables are present
3. **Authentication Issues**: Verify Clerk configuration and Supabase connection
### Debug Steps
1. Check browser console for errors
2. Verify environment variables are loaded
3. Test authentication flow step by step
4. Check Supabase logs for database errors
