# InstaPic
> A clone of the popular instagram app.

## Description
> This is an application more or less like the popular social media platform Instagram where users can sign up, post pictures view pictures posted by others comment on them as well as like or dislike the pictures.
## User Stories
As a user I would like:
> * to sign in to the application to start using
> * to upload pictures to the application.
> * to view their profiles containing all their pictures
> * to follow other users and see their the users timeline.
> * to like a picture and leave a comment on it.
## How to use it
> * Internet connection
> * Click https://instapicme.herokuapp.com/)
or
> * Copy https://instapicme.herokuapp.com/) and Paste the link on your prefered browser
## Technologies Used
> * Python3.6
> * Django framework
> * Bootstrap
> * PostgreSQL
## Setup/Installation Requirements
> * Internet access
> * ```git clone https://github.com/sarah-marion/InstaPic.git```
> * ```cd InstaPic```
#### To install a virtual environment
> * ```pip3 install python3.6```
> * ```python3.6 -m venv virtual```
> * ```source virtual/bin/activate```
## Dependancy Installments
> * ```pip3 install django==1.11 django-heroku gunicorn whitenoise python-decouple whitenoise django-bootstrap3```
#### To install all dependencies
> * ```python3.6 -m pip install -r requirements.txt```
#### To change the config_name parameter from 'production' to 'development'
> * Run ```python3.6 manage.py runserver``` to get the app running navigate to ```http://127.0.0.1:8000/``` and it will open in your browser
