# Hello! š
I am Ahmed Elmayyah (AKA Satharus in some places), I graduated from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Computer Systems Department, Ain Shams University in July 2021. Iām a cybersecurity enthusiast and researcher, tinkerer, and a strong supporter of free/libre software and decentralisation. I currently work as a Hardware Security Researcher. Sometimes I do purple-teaming too. I am also a [GCFA](https://www.credly.com/badges/a30348b4-b7a3-40ed-ae0b-f6e5bf79a7ec/public_url) and an [eCRE](https://verified.elearnsecurity.com/certificates/5933b8e7-1e4b-4b33-bf39-25d38ad2433c).
I like cycling, progressive rock, videogames ([add me on Steam](https://steamcommunity.com/id/Satharus/)), electronics and hardware, and computers. Currently, I am currently living in Bristol, England.
"Satharus" was the name of my characters in a couple of RPG games during high school and it just kinda stuck with me.
That's pretty much all there is to it š.

I usually like to tinker with low level programming, reverse engineering, Linux, and hardware and stuff. Here's some of the work I am proud of, in no particular order:
- [The 4043](https://satharus.me/archive.html?tag=8Bit+Computer): A Ben Eater-inspired Turing complete 8Bit breadboard computer using TTL chips, presented in a blog post trilogy which explains computer architecture and how it would map to such a project
- Check out some of my [Bash Snippets](https://github.com/Satharus/Bash-Snippets)
- Full 128-bit [AES Encryption](https://github.com/Satharus/AES-Encryption) written in x86 assembly without using the AES-NI extension. Alongside is the [NASM template](https://github.com/Satharus/NASM-Template) for writing quick assembly programs
- The not so [chad shell](https://github.com/Satharus/Chell)
- The (forever) WIP GDB interface: [Disass](https://github.com/Satharus/Disass)Not strictly software, but related:
- [OSC 2023 Cybersecurity Session Content](https://gist.github.com/Satharus/84d6cd58bf1cab9d617ab1a298890a18)
- [My dot files](https://github.com/Satharus/dotfiles)
- [EOI 2019 Competitive Programming Sessions](https://github.com/Satharus/EOI-Preparation-Sessions) for middle schoolers
