# vim-updater

### vim updater is simple script which helps to update to new builds of vim editor

### Requirements

1. macOS/Linux OS (Windows don't supported now)

2. git

3. Python 3.x

4. Xcode and Command Line Tools installed for macOS

### Usage

1. run `sudo apt-get install libncurses5-dev libncursesw5-dev` only on GNU/Linux

2. `git clone https://github.com/sigseg5/vim-updater.git`

or download sources [here (latest changes)](https://github.com/sigseg5/vim-updater/archive/master.zip) or download last stable [release](https://github.com/sigseg5/vim-updater/releases)

3. `cd vim-updater`

4. `chmod +x updater.py` only for macOS and Linux

5. `./updater.py`


#### Arguments

* `-f, --fm` – force make and install, run this if you type incorrect password


* `-c, --clean` – this command will remove all updater files, run this if you have some troubles with script


* `-v, --version` –  this command will print updater version


* `-h, --help` – this command will print list of available args list
