The Post Last Update Date Block plugin adds a new block to the Gutenberg editor, allowing users to display the last update date of posts.
This block is useful for websites that frequently update their content, offering readers insight into the most recent modifications of the posts.
== Installation ==
1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory**, or **install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.
3. Use the block by adding it to your post in the Site Editor or Gutenberg editor.

Yes, the date format can be customized in the block settings.
= What options does the block have? =
You can customize the color, background, color of the link, if it should link to the post or not, typography options, padding, margin, and with.
You can additionally select the date format, and specify the content to show before the date.

The block should work with most themes, but styling might vary based on the theme's design.

The block only works on posts at the moment.
