# ThinkPad » TrackPoint » Scripts for settings

ThinkPad TrackPoint scripts to find the settings and adjust them.

We use these scripts on our ThinkPads that are running Ubuntu.

 * `thinkpad-trackpoint-find-device-file-for-sensitivity`: Find the file that sets the TrackPoint sensitivity.

 * `thinkpad-trackpoint-find-device-file-for-speed`: Find the file that sets the TrackPoint speed.

 * `thinkpad-trackpoint-find-path-id`: Find the TrackPoint Path ID.

 * `thinkpad-trackpoint-set-speed-and-sensitivity-to-fastest`: Set the TrackPoint speed and sensitivity to the fastest settings.
