# discord-stat-bot

discord bot to provide daily statistics on the Tezos Pepe token

## usage

- clone repo `git clone https://github.com/tezospepe/discord-stat-bot.git`

- install deps `yarn`

- create test bot account. follow [this](https://discordjs.guide/preparations/setting-up-a-bot-application.html#creating-your-bot) guide

- setup necessary env variables in .env -- model after the example provided in `.env.example`.

- run yarn deploy:commands. 

  - this will register your slash commands on the server set according to your env variables

- run yarn watch to run the bot and relaunch when any changes are made.
