# YouTube Ad Skipper

Stream Smoothly. Skip Smartly..  

(It's a Chrome extension to skip unwanted ads only for YouTube, opened from the Chrome browser)

# About this project

Now, skip your YouTube ads within the blink of your eyes. It accelerates the ad and skips it automatically, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted video viewing.  



  


Automatic Ad Detection: No more sudden interruptions.

  


Real-time Acceleration: Ads are speed up on the fly.

  


Auto-Skip: Bypass ads as soon as they become skippable.

  


User Friendly: It only works on YouTube ads without affecting other websites, software, or downloads.

  


# How to use  



  
Download the git repo and extract it in your local directory.
  

  
Open Google Chrome.
  

  
In the address bar, type chrome://extensions/ and press Enter.
  

  
This will open the Extensions page where you can manage and install extensions.
  

  
In the Extensions page, toggle the Developer mode switch at the top-right of the page to enable developer features.
  

  
Once Developer mode is enabled, click the Load unpacked button.
  

  
A file picker will appear. Navigate to the folder containing your extension files (including manifest.json) and select it.
