Posinet is an advanced POS system tailored for businesses seeking an efficient way to manage transactions and operations. It includes features such as user and admin roles, JWT-based authentication, and a user-friendly interface for seamless interaction.

## Installation

### Frontend Setup

cd posinet
```

2. Navigate to the frontend directory:

3. Install the dependencies:

npm install

4. Start the frontend development server:

npm run serve
```

### Backend Setup

1. Navigate to the backend directory:

```bash
cd backend
```

2. Install the dependencies:

```bash
npm install
```

3. Create a `.env` file in the `backend` directory and add the following environment variables:

```env
JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret
MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
```

4. Start the backend server:
```bash
npm start
```

## Usage

1. **Frontend**: Open your browser and navigate to `http://localhost:8080` to access the application.

2. **Backend**: The backend API will be available at `http://localhost:5000`. The API handles authentication, user management, and other server-side logic.
