# Syncfusion® Document SDK UWP samples  

 

This repository contains the demos of [Syncfusion Document SDK for UWP](https://www.syncfusion.com/document-processing). This is the best place to check our document processing libraries to get more insight about the usage of APIs. The Document SDK includes comprehensive file format libraries for creating, manipulating, and converting various document formats, including PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.



This section guides you to use the Syncfusion UWP samples in your applications.

## Requirements to run the demo ##



The samples requires Windows 10 and Visual Studio 2015 or higher to build, test and deploy. Syncfusion controls supports “Build 10240 (Windows 10, version 1507)” and higher versions.  



## How to run the demos



### Individual Document Format Demos

You can run individual demos for specific document formats:



#### DocIO (Word Processing)

* Open `Syncfusion.SampleBrowser.UWP.DocIO.sln` from the **DocIO** folder.

* And run the project.



#### PDF Processing

* Open `Syncfusion.SampleBrowser.UWP.Pdf.sln` from the **PDF** folder.

* And run the project.



#### Presentation (PowerPoint)

* Open `Syncfusion.SampleBrowser.UWP.Presentation.sln` from the **Presentation** folder.

* And run the project.



#### XlsIO (Excel Processing)

* Open `Syncfusion.SampleBrowser.UWP.XlsIO.sln` from the **XlsIO** folder.

* And run the project.



**Notes:** While downloading the zip file, follow below steps

* Before you unzip the archive, right-click it, select **Properties**, and then select **Unblock**.

* Be sure to unzip the entire archive, and not just individual demos. The demos all depend on the common folder in the archive.

* If you unzip individual demos, they will not build due to references to other portions of the ZIP file that were not unzipped. You must unzip the entire archive if you intend to build the samples.

## Using the samples ##



The easiest way to use these samples without using Git is to download the zip file containing the current version (using the following link or by clicking the "Download ZIP" button on the repo page). You can then unzip the entire archive and use the samples.

   **Notes:** 

   * Before you unzip the archive, right-click it, select **Properties**, and then select **Unblock**.

   * Be sure to unzip the entire archive, and not just individual samples. The samples all depend on the SharedContent folder in the archive.  



**To use the Syncfusion UWP samples, Syncfusion license key should be registered in SyncfusionLicense.txt file. Refer [this](https://www.syncfusion.com/kb/9002?utm_source=github&utm_medium=listing) link for more information.**



**Reminder:** If you unzip individual samples, they will not build due to references to other portions of the ZIP file that were not unzipped. You must unzip the entire archive if you intend to build the samples.
