# Student Management System

The Student Management System is a web application designed to manage student and staff records efficiently. It allows administrators to add, edit, and delete student and staff information, and provides a dashboard for viewing statistics and recent activities.## Features

### Prerequisites

Move the cloned repository to the `htdocs` directory of your XAMPP installation.3. **Start the Web Server**:

- Open `phpMyAdmin` through your web browser (usually at `http://localhost/phpmyadmin`).
- Create a new database named `school_management_system`.
- Import the database structure from the `school_management_system.sql` file located in the root directory of the project.5. **Configure Database Connection**:
- Open the `includes/db.php` file.
- Update the database credentials if necessary:

```6. **Access the Application**:
- Open your web browser and navigate to `http://localhost/school_management_system/`.## Usage

- **View Students**: See a list of all students.
- **Add Student**: Add a new student to the system.
