# Halbach Wheels :bullettrain_side:
Repo for work done on Waterloop's Halbach Wheels

## main.py
Plots the **lift force** and the **drag force** on a **Force vs RPM** graph.

### Assumptions
- Diameter of Wheel = 10"
- Spacing between Magnets = 0.5"
- Number of Magnets in each wheel = 20 (5 halbach sets of 4 magnets each)
- Magnetization of each Magnet = 796kA/m (using Hcb value of N52 Neodymium Magnets from [here](http://e-magnetsuk.com/neodymium_magnets/neodymium_grades.aspx))
- Thickness of beam = 15mm
- Distance from beam = 10mm
