repoman is the REdactive POetry MANipulator, a program used to create redactive poetry out of web pages on the internet. poems created with repoman can be submitted to the redactive poetry project, which is hosted at http://redactivepoetry.tumblr.com. 

the program and the redactive poetry project were created in 2010 during a course at nyu gallatin called "who owns culture?" taught by professor gail drakes.

the redactive poetry project was created by amanda levendowski, nick panama, and parker higgins. repoman was written by parker higgins, with tremendous help provided by asheesh laroia and andrew stone.
