##考试???
从某种角度来讲，考试改版了人类的历史。
在中世纪的西方或者在隋唐前的中国，血统和出身基本决定了一个人的一生。即便在20世纪六、七十年代的中国，情况也是这样。出身比智力水平、道德素养、品位和相貌都更加重要。
不过，在考试出现之后，情况有了转变。隋朝开始出现科举考试，20世纪70年代末高考恢复，而在此后，在这两个历史时期之后，社会都有所转变。考试可能效率不高，也可能不会反映一个人的真实水平，但它确实给了普通人机会。
所以，我虽然已经在职工作，还是报名参加了IELTS。
