# Population Density Lines

**Plotting population density using minimalistic lines**

### Summary

Taking the idea from the [Population Lines Print](http://spatial.ly/2014/08/population-lines/) by Spatial.ly / Dr James Cheshire, we plot local population density maps for the Philippines in the same style. The data is taken from the [NASA Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC)](http://sedac.ciesin.columbia.edu/data/set/gpw-v4-population-density-adjusted-to-2015-unwpp-country-totals/data-download).
