# EZCrypto

Easy encryption/decryption for Node.js. Uses AES-256 and a 16 byte IV.

## Installation

```bash

npm install @travishorn/ezcrypto

```

## Usage

Import the library

```javascript

import { encrypt, decrypt } from "@travishorn/ezcrypto";

```

Encrypt plaintext

```javascript

const encrypted = encrypt("my plaintext", "my key");

```

Decrypt encrypted data

```javascript

const decrypted = decrypt(encrypted, "my key");

```

## Testing

Tests are written with Mocha in the `test.js` file.

Run tests

```bash

npm test

```
